Refund and Return Policy

TEMUSA TRADING ENTERPRISE

At TEMUSA TRADING ENTERPRISE, we are committed to providing high-quality catering, décor, and event equipment. This Refund and Return Policy is designed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa to ensure fair, transparent, and customer-friendly practices.

1. General Returns

Customers may return eligible products within 7 days of delivery if they are not satisfied, provided that:

  • The item is unused, in its original condition, and in original packaging

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is provided

Please note that a handling or restocking fee may apply where applicable.

2. Defective or Damaged Goods

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or not fit for purpose:

  • You must notify us within 6 months of purchase, as per the CPA

  • You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund at no additional cost

TEMUSA TRADING ENTERPRISE reserves the right to inspect the product before processing the claim.

3. Incorrect Items Delivered

If you receive the wrong item:

  • Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • We will arrange collection and delivery of the correct product at our cost

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be eligible for return:

  • Custom-made or special-order items

  • Used or damaged items not due to manufacturing faults

  • Hygiene-sensitive items (unless defective)

  • Equipment that has been altered or improperly installed

5. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed once the returned item has been received and inspected

  • Approved refunds will be issued within 7–14 business days

  • Refunds will be made via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed

6. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we are not responsible for lost returns

7. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for eligible items, subject to stock availability. If the requested item is unavailable, a refund or alternative option will be provided.

8. Mobile Units & Equipment (Special Terms)

For large or specialized equipment such as:

  • Mobile cold room trailers

  • VIP mobile toilets

  • Mobile kitchens

Returns and refunds may be subject to:

  • Inspection and approval by our technical team

  • Transport and handling fees

  • Usage and condition of the equipment

9. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch. If the order has already been processed or shipped, cancellation may incur administrative or delivery charges.
